Freedom of Information Act 2000 Publication scheme

Under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), as well as responding to requests for information, public authorities must publish information proactively. To support this duty, every public authority is required to have a publication scheme, approved by the Information Commissioner’s Office, and to publish information covered by the scheme. The law also requires that the scheme is maintained and reviewed.

The scheme sets out our commitment to publish certain classes of information and how we make the information available.
